This Is Newark
Brief: This site was designed and developed as an information site for my hometown of Newark on Trent. It contains local news aggregrated using Yahoo Pipes, weather, local search, driving directions and maps from Google, events from Yahoo's Upcoming and videos from YouTube. I originally come from Newark and decided to develop this site as Newark on Trent did not have a community website.
Technical: PHP / XML / CSS / XHTML / Javascript / Jquery / AJAX (Google Maps)/ Integration of APIs from Google, Yahoo and the Weather Channel. / Apache mod-rewrite
